Nature of Our Services

Our consultation services are professional advisory services delivered through on-site assessments, customized planning documents, verbal guidance, and written recommendations. Unlike physical products, our services are intangible and are considered fully delivered once the consultation session is completed and any promised materials or documents are provided to you.

Because our services involve the time, expertise, and personalized attention of our professional consultants, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. However, we are committed to ensuring that you receive value from our services and will work with you to address any concerns or dissatisfaction you may have.

If you are not satisfied with the consultation service you received, we encourage you to contact us within seven days of your consultation appointment to discuss your concerns.

Depending on the nature of your concerns and the circumstances, we may offer one or more of the following remedies: additional consultation time at no charge to clarify recommendations or address areas that were not adequately covered, supplementary written materials or resources to support the original consultation, a follow-up phone or email consultation to answer questions that have arisen since the original appointment, or in exceptional circumstances, a partial or full refund of the consultation fee.

Refund Eligibility and Process

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following conditions and guidelines:

Timing of Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted within seven days of the consultation appointment. Requests made after this period will generally not be eligible for refunds, although we will still work with you to address any ongoing concerns or questions you may have about implementing our recommendations.

Grounds for Refund Consideration

Refunds may be considered in situations where the consultation service was not delivered as promised, the consultant failed to address the specific topics or areas that were agreed upon in advance, there were significant errors or omissions in the recommendations provided that render them unusable, or the consultation was substantially shorter than the scheduled time without valid reason.

Situations Not Eligible for Refunds

Refunds will generally not be provided in the following circumstances: dissatisfaction with gardening outcomes or results after implementing our recommendations, as we cannot control environmental factors, weather conditions, pest pressures, or how recommendations are implemented; disagreement with the recommendations provided, when those recommendations are based on sound horticultural principles and appropriate for your conditions; failure to implement the recommendations as advised; requests made more than seven days after the consultation appointment; or consultations where you failed to provide accurate information about your site conditions, goals, or constraints, which affected the quality of our recommendations.

Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please contact us within seven days of your consultation appointment using the contact information provided at the end of this policy. Your refund request should include your name, the date of your consultation, the consultant who provided the service, a detailed explanation of why you are requesting a refund, and any supporting information that helps us understand your concerns.

We will review your request and respond within five business days. If your refund request is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within ten business days. Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances change and you may need to cancel or reschedule a consultation appointment. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our consultants, whose time is reserved specifically for your appointment.

Cancellations Made in Advance

If you need to cancel or reschedule your consultation appointment, please notify us at least twenty-four hours before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made with at least twenty-four hours notice will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to a different date and time at no additional charge.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations made with less than twenty-four hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of fifty percent of the consultation fee, as our consultant has already reserved that time for you and may not be able to schedule another appointment in that slot. If you fail to be present for a scheduled on-site consultation without prior notice, the full consultation fee will be forfeited, as our consultant has traveled to your location and dedicated time to your appointment.

Emergency Situations

We understand that genuine emergencies occur. If you need to cancel due to a medical emergency, family emergency, or other extraordinary circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to reschedule your appointment or provide a refund, even if the cancellation is made with less than twenty-four hours notice.

Service Modifications and Adjustments

In some cases, circumstances may require modifications to the scheduled consultation service. We will make every effort to notify you in advance if any changes are necessary.

Changes Initiated by Us

If we need to cancel or reschedule your consultation appointment due to consultant illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the option to reschedule to a different date and time or receive a full refund of any fees paid.

Weather-Related Adjustments

For on-site consultations, severe weather conditions may necessitate rescheduling to ensure the safety of both you and our consultant, and to allow for an accurate assessment of your outdoor space. If weather conditions make it unsafe or impractical to conduct the consultation as scheduled, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional charge.

Ongoing Support and Follow-Up

Many of our consultation packages include follow-up support via email or phone for a specified period after your initial consultation. This support is designed to help you successfully implement our recommendations and address questions that arise as you work on your garden or composting project.

Follow-up support is subject to the terms specified in your consultation package and is typically limited to clarifying recommendations, answering questions about implementation, and providing guidance on issues directly related to the original consultation. Requests for entirely new assessments or recommendations for different areas or projects may require scheduling an additional consultation.

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns or disputes in a fair and amicable manner. If you have a concern about our services that has not been resolved to your satisfaction through our normal customer service channels, we encourage you to contact us in writing with a detailed explanation of the issue.

We will review your concern and respond within ten business days with our proposed resolution. We believe that most disputes can be resolved through open communication and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction, and we will make every reasonable effort to reach a mutually acceptable solution.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate, helpful, and professional consultation services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from implementing our recommendations. Gardening and composting success depends on many factors beyond our control, including weather patterns, soil conditions, pest pressures, water availability, and proper implementation of recommended practices.

Our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the consultation service. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or implementation of our recommendations. This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website with a new "Last Updated" date.
